I have been working as a placenta encapsulation specialist, serving clients in Seattle, Tacoma, and surrounding areas since 2013.

Before becoming a certified placenta specialist, I worked as a family photographer for 10 years. I then shifted my focus to become a birth doula and birth photographer. In January 2013, I trained to become a birth assistant, assisting midwives in out of hospital births, and also became certified in placenta encapsulation. Since starting my practice, I have served clients all over Seattle, Tacoma, and the surrounding areas. I cover a wide service area and am always willing to travel beyond my standard travel radius. I am also an herbalist in training and currently working towards certification with Aviva Romm, MD. I live with my husband and three children on a farm that is home to Southdown Babydoll sheep, a livestock guardian dog, and a few barn cats. When I am not working, you can find me on a soccer field cheering for my kids, or out exploring the mountains.
